Jim established Hendricks Consulting in January 2007 to provide environmental and occupational safety services to the utility and related industries. He has over 37 years of experience in the electric and gas utility environmental and safety arena, with his focus of expertise in environmental, health & safety (EHS) issues management, EHS management systems design and implementation, strategic planning, energy project planning and design, management of relationships with key interest groups, public-private environmental partnering, management of corporate EHS-related assets and risks, management of comprehensive regulatory compliance programs, and regulatory activity including permitting and licensing. Jim served in a number of capacities during his career at Duke Energy including Vice President of Corporate Environment, Health and Safety.
Jim has a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Water Resources Engineering—both from Clemson University.
